Child First EPA
Developed by Unitas in collaboration with the Youth Justice Board (YJB) and accredited by Skills for Justice (SfJ), this Effective Practice Award is designed to deepen your understanding of the key tenets of Child First practice. You’ll explore its evidence base, why it is pivotal in youth justice, and the practical implications for day-to-day work with children in the system.

The course focuses on essential principles, including prioritising children’s best interests, promoting positive outcomes, and taking an individualised approach to their needs and circumstances.
