Higher Education courses

Unitas delivers a number of higher education courses in Youth Justice and Criminology, both at undergraduate and postgraduate level, validated by the University of Suffolk. This partnership ensures that our higher education programmes meet rigorous academic standards while maintaining a practical focus tailored to professionals in the youth and criminal justice sectors.
Buildable pathways
Our undergraduate higher education courses offer flexible, buildable pathways, enabling you to progress towards a BA or BA (Hons) qualification at your own pace. Each completed level of study—whether a Certificate or Diploma—is a Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and contributes directly to your final degree.
Vocational and academic courses
Our BA (Hons) in Youth Justice is a vocational pathway that equips students with critical skills and knowledge for working with children and young people in community and secure settings.

Our BA (Hons) in Crime, Criminology and Criminal Justice (CCCJ) is our academic pathway covering criminology, sociology, and law. It aims to develop your analytical skills and deepen students understanding of crime and the criminal justice system, answering critical questions surrounding the motivations behind those who commit crime and how society responds to them.

At postgraduate level, we offer the MA Youth Justice, a specialised course designed for those seeking to advance their expertise in youth justice policy, practice, and research. This Master's degree equips students with the specialist knowledge and analytical skills needed to navigate complex issues within the youth justice system, influence policy, and lead positive change in the sector.

With a progressive curriculum, research-led teaching, and practice-based learning, Unitas provides a supportive environment to help you become a reflective practitioner and critical thinker, ready to excel in your career.
