We Beat University Tuition Fees

Last month the Guardian released an article around tuition fees which highlighted the continued financial crisis facing many universities. This analysis suggests that the current £9,250 fee should be closer to £12,500 in order to break even. University leaders conceded that they would be "out of touch" to hike fees by 35%, nonetheless the UUK taskforce is still likely to recommend an increase in funding to “somewhere in between” £9,250 and £12,500, paid for by a mix of higher tuition fees and indexed to inflation, rising to £9,600 in 2025-26, and an increase in teaching grants by government.

When reading this article, it really highlighted to me how our Crime, Criminology and Criminal Justice BA (Hons) truly is exceptional value for money in today's stretched financial climate. I remain on a mission to speak to as many sixth form criminology students as possible to ensure everyone has a fair choice when it comes to their next steps!
