The YJEPC has held Approved Centre status by SfJ Awards since its launch by Unitas in 2012. Over 2,800 learners have undertaken this qualification with a success rate of 70% plus.

"The centre (Unitas) has been exemplary for many years and it is good to see that this continues to be maintained. The programme (YJEPC) works very well and provides a positive learning experience. The customised programme (YJEPC) that has been running for a number of years now has a well-established footprint and feedback from learners is very positive. The centre (Unitas) continues to be very well organised and makes effective use of distance learning. It is really good to see the progression route to university for learners"

We are passionately committed to improving outcomes for children who have been involved in the criminal justice system by helping improve the knowledge and skills of those working with them.

Unitas pioneered the innovative Summer Arts Colleges programme which has benefited over 3000 children.

Working with over 75% of youth justice services in England and Wales enables us to remain closely attuned to the reality of working with the most vulnerable children in our society and has generated invaluable research material to inform our learning programmes and help develop practice.

Our digital resources
